Miss Kirsten’s journey in dance began in 1989 at the New Jersey Center of Dance, where she trained under the inspiring direction of Miss Linda Kay Griggs—an influence that would shape not only her technique, but her heart as an artist and educator. As a proud member of the NJCOD resident company, the Special Kays, she graced renowned stages including the PNC Bank Arts Center and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Her love for performing extended beyond competition into the world of musical theatre. She captivated audiences in Break the Floor, directed by Gil Stroming at the Strand Theatre, and through Broadway Dance Center’s Performance Outlet in New York City. Yet even in the spotlight, Miss Kirsten discovered something even more meaningful: her passion for teaching. At just 14 years old, she began sharing her love of dance with others, and from that moment on, her purpose became clear. For Miss Kirsten, dance has never been just about steps or stage lights—it is about building confidence, nurturing growth, and inspiring young dancers to believe in themselves both on and off the stage.

A certified and accredited member of Dance Educators of America, Miss Kirsten has been recognized time and time again for her Outstanding Choreography and high-scoring routines at both regional and national levels. She has also had the privilege of serving as Head Judge for the Believe National Talent Competition, further demonstrating her leadership and respected voice within the dance community. But her greatest accomplishments cannot be measured in awards—they are seen in the dancers she has helped shape.
