Miss Rachel began dancing at New Jersey Center of Dance at the age of three and became a member of the NJCOD Dance Company at just eight years old. Throughout her competitive dance career, she participated in numerous award-winning group numbers and found success as a soloist, earning the title of National Teen Miss at the Turn It Up Dance Challenge. She also served as captain of the NJCOD dance team for six years and student-taught weekly classes, where she discovered her passion for teaching and inspiring young dancers.

Miss Rachel graduated from Salisbury University with a degree in Elementary Education and later earned a Master of Science in Literacy Education from Monmouth University. She currently works as a fourth-grade teacher in Monmouth County, where she combines her love of education with her passion for the arts.

Miss Rachel is also an experienced choreographer who has created choreography for numerous school productions. She returned to her middle school, Millstone Middle School, where she choreographed productions including Bye Bye Birdie, Oliver, High School Musical Jr., and Guys and Dolls. She continues to choreograph productions at her current school, with recent shows including Annie, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Wizard of Oz. Her background as both a dancer and choreographer allows her to bring creativity, energy, and a strong understanding of performance to every class and production.

Although education has become her profession, Miss Rachel’s passion

and love for dance have never faded. She is thrilled to have returned to her home studio, NJCOD, where she continues to teach, choreograph, and inspire the next generation of dancers. NJCOD will always hold a special place in her heart and will forever feel like home.
