
Tommy Iannacchino
Mr. Tommy began his dance training at the age of four at New Jersey Center of Dance, where he studied under the direction of Kirsten Jansen throughout his high school years. During his time at NJCOD, he became an integral part of the studio community, serving as an assistant, teacher, and captain of the NJCOD Dance Company. His years of training and leadership helped shape his passion for teaching and choreography, making the transition into a full-time dance educator and choreographer a natural next step.
Since beginning his career as a choreographer, Mr. Tommy has earned numerous accolades for his creative work, including Best Choreography and Overall High Score awards at both regional and national competitions. He has also created award-winning routines that have earned National Champion titles and top overall placements at prestigious dance competitions. His choreography continues to receive recognition for its originality, musicality, storytelling, and ability to showcase the individual strengths of each dancer. Known for his fresh contemporary style, high energy, and innovative movement, Mr. Tommy brings a unique and inspiring approach to every class and rehearsal.
Mr. Tommy is passionate about creating choreography that challenges dancers while allowing them to express themselves as artists. He takes pride in helping his students develop strong technique, confidence, individuality, and a genuine love for performance. Whether he is working with competitive dancers, creating award-winning routines, or teaching in the classroom, Mr. Tommy strives to motivate his students to push beyond their comfort zones and reach their full potential. His dedication to his students and the art of dance continues to make him an important part of the NJCOD family.
