Students Participating in Extra Enrichment Services

Extra enrichment services will be run in a small group format. In these groups, students will be given opportunities to participate in activities that allow them to think, explore, and develop interests outside of what they may do in the classroom. Activities may be project-based, novel-centered, science experiments that lead to writing projects, Spanish, music etc.  These activities will aim to hit the various learning styles and integrate cross-curricular learning. The enrichment work will call on students to think about HOW they are learning and taking ownership over the steps they must take to succeed.

How will I know how my child is doing?

Teachers will assess students and keep open lines of communication with parents of progress or areas of concern that we notice. We encourage parents to reach out to teachers for upcoming learning intentions the week or two prior so we can fully prepare to support your child in diving deeper during their virtual learning experience.  Parent/teacher conference is available upon request.
