Many of you know that Miss Linda's journey began as the original Captain for the New Jersey Generals in the USFL, back when the team was owned by Donald Trump. Now, decades later, the league has returned with a new generation of players, and with it, a wave of fond memories. 

Miss Linda's career has taken her from the stage to the sea: she sang and danced on cruise ships, toured nationally in the musical Can Can, and even spent a summer performing at Hershey Park, the sweetest place on Earth! She has had the joy of playing iconic roles such as Reno in Anything Goes, Sheila and Morales in A Chorus Line, and Lola in Damn Yankees, among others.

As a choreographer, she worked on more than 100 musical productions, including West Side Story, Annie, Oliver, The Secret Garden, and of course, A Chorus Line and Anything Goes. But beyond performing, teaching dance was always what she dreamed of.  Miss Linda became a certified and accredited member of Dance Educators of America, and in 1989, at just 23 years old, founded the New Jersey Center of Dance (NJCOD).

Creating a competitive team became a natural next step, and watching dancers grow in skill, strength, and confidence has been one of the greatest joys of her life.

After 30 years, in 2019, Miss Linda made the decision to retire to Florida and manage NJCOD from home. In 2020, Miss Kirsten stepped into the role of Director, a transition that felt truly meant to be. Having started at NJCOD at just nine years old, Miss Kirsten was always destined for greatness. She is adored by her students, respected by parents and colleagues alike, and cherished by Miss Linda.

Life in Florida with her family continues to be beautifully full with her children, Bryce, Brendan and Lexi. But above all, the greatest joy in life is sharing it with her husband and best friend, Bob. 

As Miss Linda reflects on the past and looks toward the future, she is filled with gratitude. She can’t wait to see the next generation of dancers blossom at NJCOD as she continue to dance down the beautiful road of life.
